We are seeking an IT System Manager - Data Management in Wausau, WI at Aspirus Health.
This position develops and leads a team of Information Technology staff. Coordinates all team and customer activities as they pertain to I nformation Technology and Data Management. This person functions as the data liason and interpreter between the technical team, the rest of IT and operations.
This position will have the potential to work from home but will need to be in the office from time to time as needed. This is NOT a fully remote position. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS + Knowledge of information systems development, implementation and project management normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
+ A minimum of 3 years' experience in Information Technology Project Management or data center management necessary to enhance and develop skills. + Previous healthcare experience is Required + Possesses analytical skills necessary to develop and implement appropriate changes to programs and to oversee and direct work of assigned subordinates. + Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills to work effectively within a team environment.
Thorough knowledge of operational processes and process improvement beneficial. + Familiarity/experience with the Epic Cogito Analytics toolset including Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, Radar, etc. + Understanding of integration/interoperability standards and applications such as HL7, FHIR, API, Epic Bridges, etc + Past experience leading a data-centric Epic team of Business Intelligence Developers, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) Administrators, Application Reporting Leads, and Integration Analysts + Forward thinker with focus on process improvement, expansion of toolsets, automation and consolidation, and setting the direction and strategy for IT Analytics and Business Intelligence + Prior experience with meeting and presenting strategies and solutions to senior leaders and physician audiences preferred + Prior experience serving on governance committees centered on data standards and solutions preferred + Adhere to organizational standards for system configuration, updates, and change control processes + Prior experience managing a large number of individuals and a wide array of service lines/responsibilities + Ability to prioritize and manage projects in a fast paced, constantly shifting environment Hours: Full time Benefit package available, 40 Hours per week, Day Shift.
