This Insurance Company Corporate/Home Office has multiple openings (9) for Policy Service Analysts to start ASAP.
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, $15/hr. to start.
This position is responsible for supporting insurance customers by analyzing and processing insurance policy correspondence. This position is also responsible for maintaining knowledge of all processing functions for all lines of business.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
Primary support for the Sales Force and secretaries via phone, email and personal visits.
Provides support to members regarding policy questions, explanations, reconciliation and understanding premium and rate changes.
Modify, update, and process existing policies to reflect any change requested by the member or agent.
Process and record new Commercial/Property/Auto lines of business.
Review and verify data, such as age, name, address, and property changes requested by the member or agent.
Organize and work with detailed office records, maintaining fields for each policyholder, including policies that are to be reinstated or cancelled.
Examine correspondence from members, agents, original insurance applications and other company documents to determine if additional changes are required and effects of these changes.
Correspond with member or agent; via email, phone, letter, and/or fax, to obtain information or inform them of account status or changes.
A working knowledge of MS Excel to transcribe data to worksheets and enter data into computer for use in preparing documents and adjusting accounts.
Compare information from request document to criteria for policy reinstatement, reissue, or change and submit for approval when criteria are met.
Accountable for control and proper handling of monies received.
Ability to process detailed assignments such as PPC Rating, Insurance Scoring, and Prorates.
Ability to perform all tasks in the assigned area of Policy Services as needed.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Hold and maintain Insurance Service Representative license or General Insurance license pursuant to Texas law or, have the ability to eventually obtain license.
Experience in call center or customer service environment.
Typing 35-50 WPM with a maximum of 10% errors.
Operate 10 key by touch.
Adequate math skills.
Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective interpersonal verbal skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced work environment.
Availability to work a varied schedule as requested on rare occasions.
Willing to travel as required but, this too will only be on rare occasions.
