Overview Serves as a primary resource at the Cancer Treatment Center for technology/applications project planning, management and support with special focus on high-end solutions. Evaluates, recommends, configures, and installs technology to meet customers' needs.

Works on complex implementation, development and support projects. Manages multiple resources and projects to effectively implement standard systems and services. Responsibilities Assists with development, implementation, and planning for technology consistent with customer requirements and industry standards, especially those involving the highest level implementation management and/or development 2.

Serves as Cancer Center software super-user, configuration user, administrator, and monitors performance of the systems to ensure availability 3.Serves as liaison to Cancer Center software's vendor for problem management, troubleshooting, and collaboration 4.Responsible for continuous process improvement and actively searches for ways to incorporate upgrade features and other software functionality to improve the efficiently and effectiveness of the Cancer Center 5.

Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of software and hardware for the Cancer Center 6.Develops policies and procedures related to the use, management, and support of Aria and other assigned applications 7.Serves as a primary resource or project leader for small or medium CTC projects with focus on planning, management, and support of these projects 8.

Serve as liaison for the Cancer Center to other IT Resource teams such as Desktop and Technology. 9.Serves as a departmental and customer training resource and mentors new employees as it relates to IT presence in CTC 10.Develops and implements cost savings and performance improvement processes 11.

Participates in on-call and weekend coverage as needed DCH Standards: Maintains performance, patient and employee satisfaction and financial standards as outlined in the performance evaluation. Performs compliance requirements as outlined in the Employee Handbook Must adhere to the DCH Behavioral Standards including creating positive relationships with patients/families, coworkers, colleagues and with self. Requires use of electronic mail, time and attendance software, learning management software and intranet.

Must adhere to all DCH Health System policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate's degree and 8 years of IT or 8 years Professional Licensed healthcare related experience. a.OR 2.

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of IT or 6 years Professional Licensed healthcare related experience. a.OR 3.Master's degree and 4 years of IT or 4 years Professional Licensed healthcare related experience. 4.Previous Cancer Center Clinical experience highly preferred 5.

Clinical Informatics degree preferred 6.Relevant IT certifications can translate as additional years of IT work experience 7.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make formal presentations required 8.

Possesses excellent personal computer skills with experience in hospital or clinic applications 9.Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and abilities to deal effectively with all levels of personnel 10.Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English Demonstrates advanced-level skills in one of the following: ?Skill in project management techniques, financial applications, and/or clinical applications.
