Role Summary:

Flowserve's Hastings, NE pump manufacturing facility is seeking a current Junior/Senior level college student for a summer internship to provide support in a designated work area. The possible work areas include Product Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Safety or Manufacturing.

Responsibilities & Requirements: Responsibilities

• completing business system transactions
• preparing charts or graphs
• responding to customers or suppliers
• gathering data for analysis, participating in improvement projects
• assisting shop manufacturing among other departments

Requirements

• Actively pursuing Engineering degree with minimum of Junior level status.
• Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must be self-motivated and able to produce measurable results.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented, and Continuous Improvement environment.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• Knowledge of rotating equipment helpful.
• FEA and AutoCAD experience a plus
