Position Summary: The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for the reporting of assigned Business Segment (specifically including Capital Expenditure). You will assist with global financial analysis, working collaboratively with a range of cross-functional partners to enable project expenditure tracking & strategic decision-making.
You'll possess an analytical mind, an ability to communicate complex ideas to senior business leaders, and a desire to make a meaningful impact on a dynamic, high-growth company. One of the main responsibilities includes establishing business planning process to measure performance. Keeping accurate records to help modify existing processes, create budgets, forecasts at regular intervals, and monthly analysis. Essential Functions:.
Develop, implement, and maintain a standard set of monthly/quarterly reports for Senior Management to provide Capital Expenditure insight and visibility to aid decision making Providing monthly analysis and commentaries on variances to forecast/budget for Key Projects Developing financial systems along with IT support to make processes more user friendly Enhance the central capital tracking processes, working with project managers to improve spend tracking and effectively flag project spend and timeline risks Business partner with non-finance managers to develop processes and the understanding of financial requirements Manage consolidated capex cashflow in collaboration with site finance controllers to ensure that project details are accurately reflected in local submissions. Provide commentaries on variances to prior submission. Assist in the preparation and compilation of the periodic forecasts and budget processes by working in partnership with the Operational business to capture project expenditure Assist in the accurate forecasting of global capital depreciation through collaboration with both Operations and FP&A business partners Drive standardization for CEA creation and back-up analysis support, providing process improvements and training where necessary.
Implement and perform quarterly CIP reviews. Act within scope of authority consistent with company objectives, guidelines, policies and practices Support the Snr Finance Controller of Global Operations with ad hoc projects and analyses Other duties or tasks assigned by Manager Qualifications:. B.S. Degree in Accounting/Finance with minimum of 5 years' experience required.
Extensive Project Accounting/Controls and Financial reporting and Variance analysis experience required. Ability to work independently. Accuracy and detail oriented.
Analytically minded, with strong organization skills. Communication and relationship management skills will be essential Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines Committed self-starter with a proactive approach. Microsoft skills required, including Excel (pivot tables, lookups, sumifs, graphs/charts, etc) and PowerPoint.
