Unit Manager (Topeka, KS) $70k-$85k

Executive Recruiter Network is looking for a qualified Unit Manager to oversee residents and be a part of the nursing team at one of our clients LTC facilities. This position requires a quality team leader with a problem-solving attitude who can collaborate with the DON to assist in coordinating and managing the specified nursing unit.

Responsibilities:

Maintains nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.

Responsible for scheduling and assigning nurses and staff.

Provides a safe and clean working environment.

Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams.

Develops an individualized comprehensive care plan.

Train new members on the unit

Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents and their loved ones.

Provides information to residents and the health care team.

Inform family members about medical procedures and facilitate DON's instructions.

Maintains resident confidence and documentation of resident care services.

Ensure resident has a positive experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Kansas State RN License

Proven work experience as an RN and a unit manager

In-depth knowledge of Long-Term Nursing Home procedures

Excellent communication skills and team management skills

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

At least 2+ Year's as a Unit Manager in a LTC facility
