Working closely with the Director of IT Engineering, the IT Client Ops Manager will be responsible for managing our growing team of dedicated Tier III/IV systems engineers. This group is part traditional local IT Ops supporting the 4 building San Diego campus network, wifi and conference room vendor relationships along with office productivity suite (O365 E3 & E5), endpoint management (Intune) and cyber compliance posture (NIST CSF). Other duties will include maintaining & monitoring our SharePoint Online, Exchange online mail flow, Defender ATP configurations, image creation/updating for Windows 10/11, and serving as a Tier III & IV escalation point for the IT support staff.
This team (IT Client Ops) is a new/small team within our organization and dedicated to Tier III/IV engineering. The support team is a separate team.
This is a highly visible position with the ideal candidate an enthusiastic champion of Client Ops technologies. We're looking for a technical leader that can mentor & bring up the junior staff as well as take ownership of IT operational duties. This role will require the ability to multi-task, while maintaining structure and organization.
