Representing a leader in the industry, we are searching for an experienced Concrete Estimator/Project Manager to join their team in upstate New York (Rensselaer County) in the heavy civil arena. IMMEDIATE Responsibilities: Develop complete and accurate bid proposal for concrete and building work including quantity take-off, crew composition, material and subcontractor pricing Develop and maintain project schedules Attend pre-bid and progress meetings with the owner, vendors and subcontractors Outline and communicate specifications to superintendents and foreperson Procure materials for the project Track project costs and cash flow to ensure project is completed on budget and on time Develop business relationships to increase bid opportunities Qualifications: Bachelor's or Associates degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred Computer literacy in the following softwares: Construction Link Estimating, CPM Scheduling, Foundations Accounting, Bluebeam/Adobe Pro, MS Office Suite Excellent communication, written & verbal Attention to detail Working knowledge of means and methods, crew composition, production rates for Building Construction, Structural Concrete & Flatware Concrete PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must past a pre-employment drug screening Minimum of 3-5 documented years of experience Strong comp & benefits Salary commensurate with experience..
