Position Summary The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating the execution of projects, in line with strategies and approved business case. The Senior Project Manager will manage the projects per contractual agreements set forth with the client concerning targeted outcome (scope), timing, budget, and quality of deliverables.
The Senior Project Manager shapes the strategy and methodology for other projects.? Essential Duties and Responsibilities The type of activities expected to be performed at this level include, but are not limited to: Develop and manage large projects. Translate strategic directions and business opportunities into program and project objectives.
? Matrix management of cross-functional teams to maximize results.? Lead team through high priority projects for the company.? Provide clear guidance and project execution, which lead to expected project results and satisfied customers.
? Manage project execution, striving to deliver a project that exceeds the needs of the client per the contractual agreement.? Manage projects to be delivered on time and within budget. Identify risks and provide timely status reporting both internal and to the client.
? Ability to manage risks and issues; and escalate to senior management as needed.? Identify best practices, deliver input and maintain project procedures, systems and methodologies, in order to contribute to consistent and high-quality project management.? Mentor and coach employees within the project team to ensure an effective and efficient execution of activities.
? Provide thought leadership to junior and intermediate project managers.? Education and Experience Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field is highly preferred. Comparable work experience will be considered.
? Strong conceptual knowledge surrounding the use of API's, cloud environments, Software Development Life Cycle with vendor dependency relationships? 8+ years of end-to-end project management in the delivery/deployment of medium to large, complex, enterprise systems and experience in the major phases of a conversion project: analysis, design, testing, implementation, and training, all required.? Proficiency in Project Management tools (ie MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel)? Proficiency in Project Collaboration tools (ie Slack, MS Teams, Confluence, Azure DevOps)? Ability and desire to understand a complex, enterprise-class software solution and its underlying components.? Self-motivated, client/customer oriented and able to work independently with others? Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to delegate, and the ability to work with all levels of an organization - internal and client.

? Demonstrated ability to manage through detail and task orientation necessary to drive desired outcome.? Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical issues.? Excellent knowledge of customer and service-oriented working and of Finxact business processes preferred.
