JOB SUMMARY: The IT Director for Enterprise Applications supports the Global IT Vision: We are a 24x7 Global Information Technology partner to our customers, Oshkosh Corporation companies and functional departments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned Direct multiple teams of information technology professionals which includes hiring and training new team members, performance management, annual reviews, career coaching, and technical, leadership and personal development program guidance Oversee the day-to-day activities of the IT function to ensure effective delivery of operational components of incident management including detection, response, and reporting Manage regular plans and resource capacity forecasts Deliver internal IT customer service excellence by negotiating service levels and ensuring delivery of business commitments Maintain strong relationships with internal customers to ensure a thorough understanding of business and technical objectives as well as across the Global IT team Ensure the effective use of IT project methodologies by providing oversight for area IT projects, providing expert guidance on deliverables, process and approach Partner with business leaders to understand direction and identify opportunities for business optimization and process improvement Govern effective internal processes, financial controls, and security practices Develop IT, business policies, and audit requirements Review and approve annual plans and budgets for multiple departments by ensuring ongoing spending aligns with business objectives as well as propose and implement changes as appropriate Ensure alignment of IT operations, project approach, architecture and management with the overall global IT targets and approach. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:. Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent Twelve (12) or more years of experience in Information Technology or related experience Five (5) or more years of management experience Ability to travel up to 10%.

Graduate degree in Information Systems, Management or equivalent Relevant industry recognized certifications (eg ITIL, COBIT, specific functional area certs as required) Ability to interact with company personnel, builds strong relationships at all levels and across all business units and organizations, and understands business imperatives Ability to maintain a high level of technical expertise, staying abreast of new technologies and practices Strong understanding of the business impact of IT tools, technologies and policies Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the IT organization, management and business personnel. JOB SUMMARY: Digital Manufacturing The Digital Manufacturing Director is focused on using technologies for transforming manufacturing processes, increasing revenue and profitability by improving performance, quality and safety metrics on the shop floor.
This role is responsible for consulting with the business in building and executing an enterprise digital manufacturing roadmap while ensuring segment specific execution plans occur for delivering value to the business. Also, this role will be responsible for establishing an enterprise framework that leverages plug and play capabilities of new technologies for providing transparency of data across disparate systems. This framework must provide the capabilities of leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT) and support real time business process monitoring and alerting for ensuring processes remain in control.
The Digital Manufacturing Director will also work closely with the business, analytics and applications teams to deliver solutions which affords the business the opportunity to quickly address issues while optimizing productivity efficiencies which will have a positive impact on the entire value chain; this framework must embrace artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities for enabling a continuous improvement environment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:. Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent Five (5) or more years of experience in Information Technology, Manufacturing, Continues Improvement, Quality, or related experience Ability to travel up to 30%.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:. Graduate degree in Information Systems, Management or equivalent Five (5) or more years of experience implementing new technologies within a manufacturing environment Relevant industry recognized certifications (Cisco, CCIE, etc.). Experience with industry standard architectural framework (FEAF, DoDAF, Zachman, TOGAF, etc.
) Experience working with abstract concepts in innovative ways to solve problems Experience with consensus building to bring together opposing views and steering debates toward practical solutions and paths forward Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc Ability to interact with company personnel, builds strong relationships at all levels and across all business units and organizations, and understands business imperatives Strong understanding of the business impact of IT tools, technologies and policies Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the IT organization, management and business personnel Experience in delivering results by leveraging agile methodologies.
