Our client is an early stage B2B SaaS start up creating software which allows their customers to make data-driven decisions around employee compensation. They are seeking a Senior Python Engineer who specializes in API design and development, database design, microservices, and data accessibility and scalability.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years professional experience and to be considered, applicants must be based in the NYC metro area and open to daily on-site work in Manhattan. Job Title:Senior Python Engineer Location:New York, NY (Lower East Side - to be considered, you must be willing and able to work on-site daily) Required Skills and Responsibilities:5+ years of Python Engineering experience with an emphasis on API design and development and microservices Ability to design and implement scalable web services, applications and API'sStrong problem-solving skills and capable of working on data accessibility and scalability challenges Fundamental knowledge of raw SQL and strong understanding of concepts such as database development, queries, joins, stored procedures, etc.
