WHAT YOU'LL DO We are seeking a strong candidate to serve as the DigitalBCG Special Talent Program Senior Manager. The DigitalBCG Special Talent Program Senior Manager is a strategic business partner and thought leader to the DigitalBCG Management Team, the Specialty Businesses, and the BCG People leaders to drive forward the DigitalBCG talent strategy and execution engaging deeply with a diverse set of firm wide stakeholders.

In this role, the candidate will innovate, test and launch people and talent development programs for our digital and tech staff. The first project (12-24 months) will be driving NGWOW across our digital and tech businesses in partnership with the NGWOW program teams, our people teams and our Specialty Businesses.

The candidate will lead the NGWOW team in building, ongoing testing, defining and roll-out/activation of our NextGen approach across BCG and our digital businesses. This will include the roll-out implementation, engagement, and support to all digital businesses (and BCG more broadly) as they initiate, support and operate teams in Next-Gen ways.

From there the role will evolve to build and test additional talent development and retention programs and support DigitalBCG leadership to drive forward the talent and people agenda.

The ideal candidate will possess strong talent experience, with both a strategic top-down lens and deep focus on execution. Candidates will feel comfortable operating in a fast moving "startup mode" within BCG, be curious and interested in pioneering new ways of working and developing people, eager to explore new ways to plan and execute development of key capabilities across BCG.

The role will require a leader eager to contribute and challenge thinking, build energy and drive for digital and tech talent programs and build our team of engaged DigitalBCG staff. The candidate should bring a test and learn mindset and eagerness to operate in agile environments. This role requires a collaborative team player who can manage across regions, functions, and teams, building relationships, driving change, and leading projects on a global scale. YOU'RE GOOD AT
  • Collaborative leader, with strong interpersonal skills and gravitas, who spends time building relationships and managing across functional teams and regions, while still firm in moving forward with a "get things done" approach
  • Creative thinker who is constantly challenging self and organization to understand new ways of working and capabilities required in an evolving digital world
  • Active listener and learner, able to hear and understand different perspectives and views, and then evolve ideas across the group and drive them forward
  • Excellent communicator who can craft powerful and compelling written and verbal communication to all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree (MA, MBA, PhD, JD, etc.) preferred
  • 10-12+ years relevant industry experience including work in teaming and talent development
  • Management consulting or professional services experience required
  • Demonstrated leadership/organizational/communication skills
