The Digital Product Manager plays a key role in the UHC Community and State Clinical Strategy organization. This individual is responsible for developing, managing, evaluating, and scaling member-facing digital programs to help people live healthier lives. In particular, this role will be focused on digital maternity programs for low-income pregnant women, supporting a positive member experience and improved health outcomes. This position works with a number of internal and external partners to ensure operational effectiveness and meet objectives.

This role can be based in Minnetonka, MN or full telecommute for the ideal candidate.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations for a portfolio of digital maternity programs and ensure alignment to the organization's maternal health strategy
  • Manage vendor relationships and lead cross-functional engagement (eg, technology, compliance, marketing, reporting) to support implementation and enhancements to maternal health capabilities
  • Identify opportunities to scale, sunset, or modify programs to drive optimal results for the organization
  • Develop innovative approaches to improve member engagement and overall program performance
  • Work with legal, compliance, and procurement teams to negotiate and execute agreements with vendor partners
  • Conduct competitive analyses and recommend opportunities to improve our competitive position
  • Establish goals and evaluation strategies to determine program effectiveness and evaluate vendor performance tied to contractual agreements for all vendors
  • Drive projects to successful completion, on schedule and within budget

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 + years of professional level experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • 3+ years of experience working with/managing digital B2C platforms or assets
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • 3 + years of project management/project leadership
  • 3+ years of experience using data to create strategic solutions to business opportunities
  • 3+ years of experience leading by influence in matrixed environment
  • 3+ years of experience managing relationships with vendors and internal constituents
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree
  • Healthcare experience
  • Solid knowledge of Medicaid population and those who serve them
  • Business analysis skills, including comfort with financial analyses
  • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively and influence others
  • Operational focus with demonstrated project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work across multiple projects
