Our New Jersey branch is looking for a new Operations Analyst - North America to join their Air Logistics team. Your Role Understand, evaluate and utilize systems and process data to present findings and recommendations allowing the organization to make sound business decisions, and by that shape operational processes and efficiencies according to the company strategy, Collaborate and work with NAM resources, creating reports and dashboards and a general understanding of the tools and data, through various methods of engagement AND Work collaboratively to enhance solutions and identify potential new solutions. Your Responsibilities
  • Understand and evaluate the analytics tools, processes and data in order to facilitate its utilization across several NAM resources and develop improvement plans to increase NAM performance metrics and develop standard and new KPI dashboards for various teams, develop improvement plans, monitor and report progress updates.
  • Design dashboards, validate their respective data and draw results and conclusions - linking data and operational processes and understanding.
  • Present findings and recommendations to various teams and management levels in the organization.
  • Initiate communication, meetings, and trainings to generate awareness of the tools and process data.
  • Closely work with area, country and regional teams to enable them to realize assigned goals.
  • Identify and report gaps within the tools and data, make recommendations for improvements and identify, report and implement any new opportunities or changes in functionality of the analytical tools, dashboards/reports to all stakeholders; frequently review dashboards and reports for their applicability.
  • Train and support the teams accessing the tool, data and dashboards; generate documentation and instructions
    Project manage (monitor, communicate, support, escalate) improvement plans to ensure positive change; monitor and report other projects as assigned.
  • Where applicable, work collaboratively with other subject matter experts to ensure teams have all necessary tools to work efficiently.
  • Work with the global services team to identify reports and functions to be transitioned to the GSC.
  • Any other projects as assigned from time to time.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • High degree of processes & data analytics and evaluation skills - degree and +2 years' experience in research and complex data analysis, qualitative and quantitative.
  • Expertise in logistics or supply chain processes, Kuehne+Nagel systems or air import/export departments preferred.
  • Must demonstrate excellent organizational and communicative skills.
  • Be knowledgeable with Celonis, Tableau, BI or similar software.
  • Be comfortable to work with Excel, Jira, Wiki and other process and reporting platforms.
  • Be curious, inquisitive, and able to learn tools and functions independently with limited resources for training and support.
  • Be forward thinking, solutions driven, and self-motivated - expertise in consulting.
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects at multiple stages at the same time.
  • Must be proficient in English.
  • Willing to travel from time to time.
