Position Overview: Jefferies Operations Technology is looking for a developer with 5 or more years' experience to become a member of the middle office technology team. They will be tasked with carrying out various steps of the software development lifecycle from design, development, coordination, testing and implementation.

This is a global team supporting the middle office application that is used globally by various lines of business within Jefferies.Responsibilities include: Lead, architect, manage, develop, and test innovative software solutions Responsible for building a strategic solution using cloud native technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Yaml, and at least one major cloud provider, preferably AWSDesign and deliver front to back technical solutions and integrate into business processesParticipate in hands on coding, code reviews, architectural decisions, and reviewsWork in an Agile Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process delivering rapid business valueEvolve and establish sound technical practices around Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Development (CD), Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and automated testingRequirements:REQUIRED - Strong in C#, SQL, NET, Microsoft SQL, Multi-threading/Async programmingExperience migrating applications to the cloud, using cloud-relevant technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Yaml, and at least one major cloud provider, preferably AWSExtensive experience with DevOps practices and working knowledge of relevant tools and frameworks.Excellent technical leadership skillsUnderstanding the FIX protocol, is good to have but not required.
