Job Summary
The Operations Business Analyst and Project Manager has three primary areas of responsibility. First, they are responsible for analyzing the needs and demands of our customers and employees as they relate to the products and services administered by Operations.

Through this analysis they will determine if enhancements to existing products/services are needed or if new products/services are required. Second, they are responsible for managing all projects related to Operations products and services and ensuring that they are completed on time and on budget. Third, they are responsible for analyzing Operations business functions and recommending enhancements to existing processes and/or systems, or new systems, with the goal of increasing efficiency.

In addition to these primary responsibilities, they will assist the Operations Officer with vendor and systems oversight including due diligence, risk assessments (Operational and IT), and vendor analysis. Functions/Responsibilities Business Analysis Analyze existing processes to ensure maximum efficiency Analyze existing systems/products to ensure maximum customer/employee benefit Monitor the needs and preferred banking channels of the market and our customers to determine if enhancements to existing products/services or new products/services are needed Based on the monitoring of our customer needs and preferences, establish requirements and benefits of enhancing existing or implementing new products/services Based on the analysis of our existing internal processes and systems, establish requirements and benefits of changing current processes or introducing new technology Analyze product/service/system options available from current or new vendors to determine if they meet the established requirements and benefits Complete cost benefit analysis to ensure that enhancing or adding new products/services is beneficial to the Banks financial position and/or reputation Make proposals to Senior Management based on the completed analysis Project Management Responsible for the coordination and completion of Operations related projects Evaluate, plan, test, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project completion Work with stakeholders to ensure all project tasks are completed in a timely manner Provide regular status updates to Senior Management and Project Committee Ensure projects are completed on time and within the established budget Inform and train Bank staff on changes to enhanced or new products/services Work with the Marketing Department/Agency to coordinate customer notification of enhanced or new products/services Monitor for quality during project and after project completion; fine-tune when necessary Operational Function Analysis Review existing Operations processes to ensure they are being completed with the highest level of efficiency Review current Operations systems to ensure they are being fully utilized to complete Operations processes with the highest level of efficiency Recommend process changes/enhancements or system changes/enhancements to meet efficiency goals Schedule systems reviews in consultation with Core Vendor Assist Operations Supervisors with Annual/Bi-Annual Production Analysis Vendor and System Oversight Vendor Due Diligence Coordinator for Operations Complete Risk Assessments on Operations managed products and services as required by Regulatory Agencies and established best practices Complete IT Risk Assessments as directed by the Vice President and Manager of Information Technology Assist the Senior Management with vendor oversight, vendor oversight and vendor contract analysis Complete other duties as assigned.
