What we do:The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and administering cloud-based solutions in Azure. The role will ensure the clou d systems adhere to organizational, industry, and security standards. An in-depth understanding of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security is required to be successful in the role.

This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.What you can do:Design, deploy and maintain complex Azure-based infrastructure and solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and securityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for cloud-based projectsWorking with consultants and vendors on projects and/or for additional supportManage and optimize our data analytics infrastructure (Databricks and Snowflake), including monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining high availabilityDevelop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure as code templates for deploying Azure resourcesAssisting with escalated support related to our Azure environmentTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure-based infrastructure and applicationsConduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in collaboration with our security teamManage and monitor Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and network componentsRoutinely review and suggest improvements to our Azure environmentDesign and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategiesAct as a mentor to other cloud engineers and provide technical guidance and supportMay require up to 10% of domestic and international travelOther duties as assignedWhat you can contribute:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field required5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management and engineering, with a focus on Azure requiredExperience with DevOps and CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, and JenkinsFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and KubernetesExperience managing Databricks and Snowflake infrastructureStrong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and load balancingExperience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languagesMicrosoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, are preferredYou may also be able to contribute:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProactive delivery of communication and follow upExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraintsSelf-motivated and forward-thinkingProficiency with MS Office SuiteAny offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background check.
