Overview Remote Work Available The Senior Business Intelligence Solutions Architect is responsible for strategic program roadmaps and for the successful implementation of architectural solutions surrounding NAH's primary data warehouse domains (ie, Acute Care EHR, Interoperability & ACO, and System ERP). S/he works directly with organizational leadership to design and implement enterprise-wide transformation and deliver business value.
TAGS: Data Engineering, SQL, ETL, Engineer Responsibilities Technology Architecture* Leads a team of solution architects, consultants and key partners in the delivery of pragmatic solutions, aligned to strategic program road-maps Facilitates the incorporation of new data sources to the data warehouse(s), by leading cross-functional and multi-disciplinary implementation teams Builds up greater architectural competencies within the team, contributing to the evaluation of and recommendation for data source systems Manages both the governance of day-to-day operations and implementation of special projects. Strategic Development* Participates in the development of the organization's Business Intelligence strategy and operational capabilities Collaborates with senior leaders to develop program solution architectures, articulating strategies and trade-offs to stakeholders, senior management and business partners Maintains a broad knowledge of data warehouse and business intelligence best practices. Change Management* Champion Data Stewardship, by working with data source owners and subject matter experts to regularly validate the completeness and accuracy of data Assists with the advancement of Data and Analytics education, throughout the organization.
Compliance/Safety* Responsible for reporting any safety-related incident in a timely fashion through the Midas/RDE tool; attends all safety-related training programs; performs work in a safe manner; monitors work environment for possible safety issues and ensures others are also performing work in a safe manner Stays current and complies with state and federal regulations/statutes and company policies that impact the employee's area of responsibility If required for the position, ensures all certifications and/or licenses are up-to-date and valid prior to expiration dates Completes all company mandatory modules and required job-specific training in the specified time frame. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED and 15+ years of relevant experience- Required or Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience- Required Master's Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience- Preferred Certificates aand Licensure Relevant certifications, with a focus on Database and Data Warehousing Technologies, Tableau Server, Cerner and/or Infor/Lawson- Preferred Six Sigma/Lean certification- Preferred Experience Experience and demonstrated mastery of OLTP and OLAP database modeling, methods and concepts, in support of fulfilling business requirements- Required Proven professional, incorporating new and evolving technologies into solution designs, with experience developing strategic system roadmaps- Required Extensive healthcare industry experience (eg, electronic health records, interoperability, HIPAA/data security and privacy, or master data management)- Required Experience in Matrix organizations and leadership structures, preferably with time spent in functional leadership roles- Required Healthcare is a rapidly changing environment and technology is integrated into almost all aspects of patient care. Computers and other electronic devices are utilized across the organization and throughout each department.
