Anduril's Land Systems team develops software for land-based manned and robotic ground systems, leveraging software infrastructure built by other teams at Anduril. The team is responsible for taking manned and unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) robots from paper sketches to operational systems. We are looking for software engineers and roboticists excited about creating meaningful human-robot interactions around behaviors and subjects such as computer vision, motion planning, SLAM, controls, estimation, secure communications, fleet management, and more.

We intend to hire a C+ Software Engineer to join our team. We're seeking creative, motivated, and passionate engineers who will be building, deploying, integrating, extending, and scaling Anduril's software to deliver mission-critical capabilities to our customers. As the software engineers closest to Anduril customers and end-users, Mission Software Engineers solve complex technical challenges of operational scenarios while owning the end-to-end delivery of winning capabilities REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.

6+ years of production-grade C+ and/or Rust experience in a Linux development environmentExperience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysisAbility to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code basesA desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impactMust be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearanceTravel up to 30% of time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real worldPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSStrong background with focus in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Motion Planning to inform modeling & simulation (M&S) and physical systemsDeveloping and testing multi-agent autonomous systems and deploying in real-world environments.Feature and algorithm development with an understanding of behavior trees.
