Job Title: Lab Technician II

Location: On-Site Coralville, IA

Shift: Weekend Overnight; Fri Sat Sun 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

• $11,000/Year Weekend OvernightShift Differential

• $6,000 Bonus paid after 1 year of service on Weekend Day shift!

Our entry-level scientific lab-based positions are split between three sub-titles, Synthesis, Purification, and Formulation.

• The Technician II (Synthesis) synthesizes custom oligonucleotides according to the customer's order. This generally includes synthesis, cleavage, deprotection and QC sampling of the products being made.

• The Technician II (Purification) purifies custom oligonucleotides according to the customer's order. This generally includes the sorting, purification, and QC sampling of the products being made.

• The Technician II (Formulation) formulates custom oligonucleotides according to the customer's specifications. This generally includes quantification, final packaging, and QC sampling of the products being made.

What do we require?

Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures

No advanced knowledge is needed!

Minimum of 2 years of lab experience required.

Addition experience/education or Bachelor's degree preferred.

• An Associate's degree or laboratory experience from undergraduate Bachelor's degree studies coursework is sufficient!

Physical Requirements:

Exert 10-15 lbs. of force frequently
