Position Purpose:

Ensures the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform offers a user-centric experience that allows marketing teams to effectively reach and acquire new consumers through digital-content marketing strategies. Identifies opportunities to build and add data-driven solutions that help marketing teams tailor acquisition campaigns to customers' behaviors, preferences, and multi-channel journeys. Acts as a trusted source of knowledge in Marketing Cloud best practices and its growing number of capabilities to ultimately build the SFMC roadmap.

• Translate business and marketing requirements into well-designed and customized marketing solutions using the Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Determine the best path for Salesforce platform implementation, configuration, data migration, and integration.
• Use data analytics to help understand which communication channel is most effective by the different customer segments for each type of message.
• Design and build customer relationship email/mobile automation solutions to reach and acquire new members.
• Design and/or build integration between Marketing Cloud and 3rd party applications or data sources.
• Define and measure KPIs (eg, marketing emails, PPC, open and click-through rate, unsubscribes, bounce rate, conversion rate, etc.) to measure automation performance.
• Empower teams to utilize the Marketing Cloud automation platform and collaborate with them to identify opportunities to continuously improve the utilization and adoption of the platform.
• Fundamental understandings of complex technology environments with an understanding of how to optimize automation solutions for efficiency and simplicity.
• Build custom queries and dynamic templates in automation studio to segment audiences.
• Maintain and document technical processes and marketing automation procedures and provide seamless hand-off to business users to utilize.
• Conduct user training and actively promote user adoption of Marketing Cloud throughout the Marketing organization.
• Stay up to date with latest Salesforce technology updates, changes, community, and roadmap(s), and partner with Digital Solutions and Product Team to develop and maintain Centene's SFMC roadmap.
• Collaborate with the UX and product teams to identify customer relationship requirements and opportunities to develop multi-touch point communications with new consumers and optimize campaigns.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Knowledge of programming languages in SFMC: AMP Script, HTML and CSS, SSJS and/or JavaScript, SQL (and Query Studio experience).

5+ years of experience working hands-on in Marketing Cloud implementations, ideally involving integrations with Salesforce core and other platforms.
Strong background in agile SCRUM practices and associated tools preferred.

End-to-end understanding of SFMC Platform preferred.

Ability to build cloud pages (using smart capture) using both content blocks & HTML/CSS & JS.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience.

License/Certification:

Certified in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer and/or Marketing Cloud Consultant preferred
