(ADMI). The position is based at ADMI's office in Chicago, IL, and the successful candidate may work remotely up to three days per week from within the Chicago area.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and develop new features and support and maintain legacy web applications and APIs, develop and troubleshoot highly available, scalable revenue-generating systems, and work with a diverse group of stakeholders from Product Development, Product Management, Infrastructure, Security QA, Compliance, and vendor partner teams to support and develop solutions.The specific duties include:Write and build the applications, placing them into source controlCreate and maintain custom applications in a development environmentDevelop test procedures and test the code in various environmentsDeploy to one or more production environmentsMonitor and validate changes with support and operation teamsDetermine internal customer requirements for custom requirements and changesDevelop and maintain .Net web APIs and .Net Core APIsDevelop and optimize SQL queriesParticipate and contribute to different software development phases like planning, design, implementation, and testingWrite unit tests to improve code qualitiesProperly document all custom changes with proper approvals and proof of user acceptance testing resultsReview alerts and alarms and diagnose the systemPerform period performance reviews and maintenancePerform gap analysis between existing system functionality and internal customer requirementsContribute new ideas to improve software practices and processesSubmit and conduct peer code reviews as part of our DevOps build and deploy pipelinesTrain less experienced members of the team to build up their skills.

ExperienceEducation:Bachelor's or higher degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, or a related fieldExperience:Five years as a Software Developer, Programmer/Analyst, Applications Developer, or any related title.
