Title: Auditor Manager Mandatory skills: Telecommunications, Budgeting, supervisory, project management, Tracking progress, audit requirement, Hiring audit, Audit, Accounting, Finance, Risk Assessment, work paper documentation, FCC guidance Description: ESSENTIAL DUTIES The position's essential duties include the following: Performing project management duties, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating the work of audit staff; Tracking progress of audits and projects, including identification of potential delays/roadblocks; Assisting IAD senior management with the identification, reporting, and evaluation of audit risk areas; Providing audit staff with expertise in auditing standards and performance criteria, and audit requirements; Developing audit procedures/programs for achieving audit objectives and goals; Reviewing and providing feedback on work paper documentation and audit reports; Communicating audit status and results via written reports and oral presentations on a timely basis to the auditee and the client management; Assisting in the coordination of outsourced audits; Hiring audit staff; Developing audit staff through training and coaching, as well as addressing employee relation matters; Preparing and conducting mid-year and annual performance appraisals; Providing assistance with the coordination of the audit efforts for whistleblower investigations; Identifying audit issues that require client guidance; Pursuing professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and share information with co-workers to contribute to the growth and development of the Audit and Assurance Division; and Assisting in other special projects as needed.
