This position is accountable for defining the data acquisition and enablement strategy required to support NABO commercial and medical data-related needs. This person will serve as the internal expert on data sources and solutions for all Business Units. This work will require collaboration and multi-functional leadership with many partners, including other data teams, Analytics & Insights, IS, medical, Field Analytics and Operations, and commercial teams.

The position is part of Business Operations and will be responsible external and internal data strategy, management and information systems in support of the North America organization. In addition, the position will provide expertise with secondary data sources and be able to identify potential data sources to inform decision making with cross functional partners (New Product Planning, Corporate Development etc.) The role will be closely aligned to Commercial IS to own data acquisition and ingestion, maintain, and enhance data quality, structure the data for business consumption, and commercial systems management.

The ability to independently manage multiple deliverables and shifting priorities with strong skills in project management, collaboration, decision making, and communication will be key to success.Success will be determined by the individual's ability to demonstrate exceptional communication, planning, strategy, program management, and organizational skills, with the ability to successfully drive multiple concurrent initiatives. The individual must be a strong leader with skills to influence without authority as well as consistently seeking to improve the solutions and services they provide.

Essential FunctionsData Strategy:Develop the Scalable Strategies for:Data Portfolio Management and InnovationData Assessment and AcquisitionValue MeasurementOmnichannel: Digital, Marketing, and Social Media DataData Management (Internal and External):Collaborate with commercial, brand, and other functional areas to identify data sources needed to support brands, enable reporting on key metrics and inform business decisionResponsible for all internal and external data sources. Identify and evaluate third party data sources (eg, SHA, IMS, HMS, MMIT, etc.) to identify most appropriate data required to support and inform business decisions.

Manage relationship with third party data vendorsDevelop Data Governance to ensure that reporting, storage, and handling of data sources meet compliance requirementsData Integration & Analysis:Partner with IS to ingest, standardize, and store data across all data feeds (internal and third party)Develop request management process (system) to prioritize and respond to data inquiries in alignment with business needsUnderstanding of claims data, how to apply business rules using queries, coding experience and analytics experience. Manage third party vendors for Development and Operations enhancements.Master Data Management/Governance:Institutionalize best practices for data usage across all brands and commercial projectsEnsure that data collected internally and externally meets quality standardsOversee master data management (eg, access rights, privacy) for HCP, HCO, Patient and Payer.

Information Systems:Working knowledge and understanding of technology systems such as AWS, Redshift, Informatica, Reltio, Salesforce Health Cloud and Marketing Cloud.Experience in leveraging tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and TOAD.General:Manage multiple projects and deliver consistently to the expectations of different stakeholdersBuild strong partnerships and relationships, across the organization and externally, that lead to the highest levels of collaboration and effectivenessDemonstrate the ability to influence multiple stakeholders to ensure a high-level of team involvement in key business decisions while working effectively with business partnersPartner with the Commercial IS:Set the strategy to improve efficiencies and enable enhanced capabilities to deliver advancement in business analytics, sales force effectiveness, and information managementServe as the Commercial lead to collaboratively design, develop, implement, and support new business analytic and operations capabilitiesDeliver scalable solutions that integrate within the Commercial technology and processes ecosystem; ability to have a broad perspective and consider implications beyond the explicit requirementsRequired/Preferred Experiences and SkillsExperience with commercial pharmaceutical data, systems and platforms, business analytics solutions, data warehouse and reporting, and master data managementStrong commercial business, data, and technology acumenExcellent communication, facilitation, influence, change management and consensus building skillsPharmaceutical Data Management and Governance experience requiredOmnichannel data knowledge required: Pharmaceutical marketing or digital dataMeticulous, highly organized, and self-directed approach to work, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing tasks in time-constrained situationsProficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, Veeva, and MDM is a plus with coding skills using SQL, R, or Python6+ years in pharmaceutical data management or strategy, sales analytics, data operations, and/or commercial IT, preferably in the pharmaceutical/biotech industryKey Competencies and Qualifications Collaboration.
