WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for conducting analyses in Microsoft Excel and supporting the administration of BCG's compensation programs to attract and retain top talent within North America. You will help set base pay ranges, provide consultative guidance and execution support on compensation for new hires and promotes, and administer bonus and incentive programs. You will participate in important projects that guide the direction of North America's compensation strategy and programs.

You will work closely with internal Human Resources teams, firm leadership, and external vendors and be a part of a "Center of Excellence" for North America. The right person thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a self-starter, detail oriented, works effectively with internal contacts and has a passion for client service.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
  • Partner with Compensation and Benefits Director and Compensation Manager to support compensation planning efforts
  • Support the coordination of mid-year and year-end promotion, salary increase and annual bonus process for support functions and consulting employees, ensure local offices have necessary support and follow-up as required so deadlines are met
  • Provide support and salary recommendations to local offices for salary increases and setting of new hire compensation to ensure compensation is competitive and reasonable
  • Execute the administration of BCG compensation programs including monthly salary increases, processing of awards in partnership with US payroll, and compensation audits
  • Assist with participation in compensation benchmark surveys and analyze results to set North America pay ranges
  • Research and monitor external compensation trends and evolving market competitive practices
Support to local office Human Resources:
  • Act as contact for local office Human Resources, assisting with the resolution of employee issues as they arise
  • Conduct training to educate local office Human Resources and employees on compensation
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • BA/BS degree required
  • 2-4 years of experience in an analytical field preferred with a strong interest in compensation
  • Very strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint
  • An aptitude for managing and maintaining large sets of data; using data to generate insights
  • Capacity to prioritize across multiple issues and to respond quickly with an appropriate sense of urgency
  • Comfort working in the details and understanding the big picture; able to consider the ramifications of decisions on various constituencies
  • Strong organization skills and composure: ability to handle competing priorities and to work effectively in a challenging fast paced environment
  • Exercises judgment in managing confidential/sensitive information; trustworthy
  • Familiarity with Workday preferred
