The Fleet Analyst is accountable for the administrative support required to deliver Fleet Services and Support processes. The position reports to the Fleet Manager and works with the Fleet Services provider, Field Logistics Manager, drivers, accounting and various suppliers - any of whom could be stakeholders or customers.
Duties and Responsibilities. Responsible for entering budget data for team Analyze, troubleshoot, correct, project and communicate the status of fleet's finances (CAPEX) Ensure the accuracy and consistency of fleet cost coding as well as the distribution of fleet costs Ensure corporate compliance with the Motor Vehicle Act (ie Section 37, National Safety Code), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Regulations and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations Coordinate license, insurance and permit renewals and distribution Administer fleet management systems, including Element Administer Telematics programs, including Lytx Provide administrative support for corporate, fleet related issues such as fleet inventory control, fuel maintenance cards, vehicle acquisition and disposal, taxable benefits for personal use of company vehicles, and fleet safety initiatives Provide administrative support of fleet safety related initiatives Other duties as required. Preferred Qualifications:.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills Strong team building and relationship skills Attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Proven organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Knowledge and Experience:. Business Administration diploma or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a business environment.
1 year experience with the Motor Vehicle Act(s) and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 1 year experience working in a process based, team oriented environment Working knowledge and experience with a fleet management system and Element/CEI applications is an asset Proficient with computer systems and related programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and Google Suite.
