A week in the life of a Web Application Developer/Software Developer: Develop mission-focused applications and project visibility components such as user interface, automated workflows, data repositories, charts and dashboards Identify and recommend ways to streamline business processes.

Build visual data representations using products such as Tableau or Power BI Produce reports and visualizations supporting effective decision makingCommunicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements. Job RequirementsActive TS/SCI clearance with SCI EligibilityBachelor's degree in computer science (CS) or Computer Science Information Systems (CSIS) or equivalentDoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required (eg, Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP)7+ years of Web Design Experience3-5 years' experience collecting, cleaning, interpreting, and analyzing various types of dataExperience working with ColdFusion, Confluence, and administering Oracle v19Experience with Data Analytics, using data mining to extract information from data sets, and identifying errors or inconsistencies in dataIdentify correlations and patterns using tools such as Oracle BI, Python, and R toolsExperience building visual data representations using products such as Tableau or Power BIExperience with data transformation and preparation Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software development practices (eg Scrum/XP) Experience working with SQL and Oracle extracting data from large databasesExperience administering Linux (RHEL), including applying updatesAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners.
