This architect will work on a team focused on creating new Azure Data Lakes for every major line of business within this corporation. You will transform and modernize all traditional Data warehouse into Azure Data Lakes.

You will play a pivotal role in facilitating the adoption, development, and ongoing management of cloud infrastructure for Data & Analytics needs. You will be responsible for leading the configuration and deployment of cloud-based analytics platforms, with a strong focus on Azure Synapse Analytics. This role will provide thought leadership in cloud platform management, technology leadership, cloud governance, security, and self-service management Lead the configuration and deployment of cloud-based analytics platforms, particularly Azure Analytics Platform.

Provide technical leadership in designing and implementing Azure cloud architecture solutions. Develop and implement cloud governance policies and best practices. This includes creating guidelines for resource provisioning, security, compliance, and cost management.

Collaborate with Data Engineers, Visualization Developers, and Data Scientists, leading a group of architects to manage Azure analytics solutions/platforms.Requirements: 10+ years of experience cloud infrastructure, cloud solutions, Data platforms, Business Intelligence/Analytics, and systems architecture and design. 6+ years of experience in Azure administration & architecture, Azure Data Services, ARM templates, PowerShell, and CI/CD using Azure DevOps.

Demonstrated advanced experience and knowledge in IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance. Azure cloud certifications are a plus. Familiarity with Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence solutions Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required.
