We're seeking someone to join our team as a Technology Power, Cabling and Smart Building Infrastructure Manager to be responsible for working with the Engineering Operations Manager Americas to manage the maintenance, repair and upkeep of MS cabling infrastructure and technology power distribution and the implementation of smart building infrastructure and devices throughout the Americas including but not limited to all equipment rooms, comms rooms, trading floors and risers for all facilities where CES is responsible. This includes managing the service providers, best practices, KPIs and SLAs, and service improvements.

Read on .What you'll do in the role:- Manage Morgan Stanley's Smart Building Program implementation including, supervising the installation and life cycle management of all SB devices across the portfolio, and assisting the Master System Integrator in implementing system mapping and strategies. - Provide subject matter expertise and strategic direction to CS and IT for Cabling and Power Design, Maintenance and Operation; monitor recurring spend and usage through monthly metric and budget review; create/publish monthly and year-end budgets and transparency reporting.

- Develop, present and manage scope, budget and operational plans for all power & cabling projects, including project cost tracking and reporting.- Manage consulting staff, union and non-union trades, suppliers and 3rd party vendors, ensuring 24/7 coverage for emergency or break fix events, resolving issues with trades and vendors (delivery delays, manpower scheduling problems, workmanship deficiencies, etc.) and apply skill in formal and informal vendor negotiation (bid documents and scopes of work/costs).

- Create and manage Preventative Maintenance Plans for each technology space.- Direct management of vendors for IT equipment rack and stack of equipment, and management of the cabling database.- Adhering to the firms Data Bearing Assets and protocols for equipment in technology rooms.

QualificationsWhat you'll bring to the role: - Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) degree or equivalent business experience- At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role working in the technology power and cabling or IT field- Preference for CDCMP/CDCDP/RCDD or equivalent industry certifications- Electrical Systems, HVAC Systems and Data Center Background required- Vendor and contract management experience- Superior client and customer relationship skills, effective time management skills, verbal and written communication skills- Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel including a cross functional team environment- Experience with the implementation and use of different DCIM tools and software such as Patch Manager and/or other infrastructure management tools- Knowledgeable in building systems for the installation of SB devices and expected changing priorities/strategiesWe are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 85 years. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.Job Field: Other.
